Whether you are a first time or experienced home buyer in the District of Columbia, we provide a full service approach toward helping you own a home.  The following are standard aspects of our service:

Initial Buyer Consultation: Prior to going with a buyer client to visit properties, our first meeting is held at our office.  During this initial consultation, we want to understand your motivation and goals, to introduce you to how we work, and to provide information specific to real estate transactions in the District of Columbia.

Financing Preparation:  Based upon each specific buyer's needs, we make recommendations of lenders to contact prior to actively searching for property. Our experience has led us to some excellent loan officers who can help with financing related to renovations, investor or multi-unit purchases, low down payment options, loans for foreign nationals, as well as jumbo loans.

Showing Appointments:  Typically, we try to plan for a longer appointment the first time we view properties with a client.  Initially, we may be seeing a range of neighborhoods and types of properties, as well as inventory that has been on the market.  As we get to know our client and the client gets to know the market, the showing appointments become increasingly focused.

Negotiation:  As full service agents, our role is to represent your interests.  Prior to making an offer on a property, we assist you in understanding current market data relative to that specific property and advise you in how to proceed.

Transaction Coordination:  Our involvement in your transaction actively continues following the acceptance of an offer.  We provide guidance through the home inspection response, track contingency time frames, and maintain communication with the listing agent, the lender, and the title company, all the way through to successful settlement.
